「ブランド人」という言葉が好きです。
数年前に本の中でこの言葉に出あってから、忘れられなくなりました。
先日、知り合いの女性から、数十万円のブランドものの指輪を自慢されて「目の保養」をしちゃいました。
...が、「モノ」のブランドとはちょっと違うんです。
21世紀は個人、つまり「ヒト」のブランド化の時代だ〜(^o^)/ とわたしは思っています。
それは「自分勝手」ということとはまったく違います。
組織の中でまたは社会で、自分はどんなことで人の役に立てるか、人の心を熱くするような人になるにはどうしたらいいか、と本気で考え、行動できるひとが「ブランド人」になれるんじゃないかな。

ビジネス書の英語はわかりやすいものが多いですが、この人の本はちょっと雰囲気が違う。「口語」でネイティブには読みやすいのですが、スラングや造語がけっこうあるので、きっちりとした英語を読みたい方にはつらいかも。見方を変えれば、「ビジネス」分野のアイディアと、「英会話」を両方学べる、一粒で2度おいしい本、とも言えます。
作りもCOOLで、持っていて楽しい本です。
